The 26-story tower will have 90 homes and is being built next to Estero Bay Park, one of three waterfront parks within the 2,400-acre community. Tavira will have a rooftop sunset terrace with panoramic views of Estero Bay, Bonita Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

Tavira has two penthouses, on the top two floors with the the remaining residences, offered in four floor plans, range from 3,517 to 3,930 square feet of air-conditioned living space, with terraces ranging from 546 to 809 square feet.

Interiors feature 10-foot-tall ceilings, crown molding in foyers, dining rooms and great rooms, gas fireplaces, wood cabinetry in a range of style and color choices, and SubZero/Wolf and KitchenAid Architectural Series appliances. Screened terraces will be equipped with outdoor kitchens including electric grills, sinks and cabinetry.

Tavira's amenities include two designer-furnished suites for overnight guests and a manager in residence. Other amenities include a resort-style pool with lap lanes, whirlpool, barbecue grills and outdoor bar with screened cabana and fireplace as well as a clubroom with bar and catering kitchen, a theater/media room, card room, game room, and a health club with fitness center including steam and massage rooms.

The building entrance will have a water feature and porte-cochere. With four residences per floor, access-controlled elevators will open into private entry foyers serving no more than two residences each. Residents will have garage parking, climate-controlled storage areas, bicycle storage, an automated car rinse and a high-rise trash-sorting system that is accessed from each floor to electronically separate refuse and recyclables.

Tavira is being built with structured wiring for high-speed voice/data/video cabling, impact-resistant, tinted, insulated glass windows with an energy-efficient Low-E coating, storm shutters on screened terraces and 2-inch sound ceilings with extra insulation for exceptional sound absorption.

More than 1,400 acres of Bonita Bay is devoted to open space, including lakes, nature-preserve areas and 12 miles of biking and walking paths. Residents enjoy three waterfront recreational areas within the community and a private beach park on the Gulf of Mexico.
